brigittoketaukafrietman2The collection researches how an object can be reduced to a minimum but still maintain all its strength and impact. It explores the meaning of essence, and specifically in relation to the complex and organic human body. I wanted to create a collection which, when worn, would harmoniously emphasise both the body and the jewellery by bringing opposites together.

I think the singularities behind these objects are their concept and the techniques I used to create them. All of the pieces are steam bend to create an intimate body piece without having to cut or add wood to the design.

brigittoketaukafrietman4 In their concept they are not critical to the current situation or trends but in the process of making they were to me. I find the practice of making such an honest and reflective job that it helps me trying to  understand what is happening and developing in the world around us.
