Chene Console by Atelier de Troupe

«We’ve been noticing an increased preference for objects with a direct nature’s reference. Our console is a great example of nature and simplicity of shapes found in nature.»

Atelier de Troupe is a Los Angeles based manufacturer of unique contemporary lighting and furniture.
Our true value comes from our in-house design team and craftsmen to the highest level and finish, as well as working closely with the interior trade and collaborating with design professionals throughout the specification and design process.

The Chene console is inspired by Pierre Jeanneret’s work for the renowned Chandigarh project. Brutalist and sculptural in form, the console is constructed from oak wood or ash, where the material imposes itself in a more minimalist approach.
We’ve been noticing an increased preference for objects with a direct nature’s reference. Our console is a great example of nature and simplicity of shapes found in nature. A lot of our products are influenced by the raw materials we’re using as well, whether it’s wood for the Chene console and desk, or raw brass for many of our light fixtures.
